Under our early education program, Kids Kingdom offers care for children from the age of 0 to 5 years, divided into infant (0 to 18 months) and toddler (18-30 months) programs. We also offer preschool for children aged 2.5 to 5 years. As part of Kids Kingdom’s early education program, we use learning tools such as stories, songs, crafts, games, and pretend and interactive play. Our early education program includes a morning and afternoon snack, as well as lunch. All food provided by our daycare programs meet Canadian food guide standards.

Physical
Children in our childcare programs learn hand-eye coordination and motor skills through gentle but active play outdoors (when seasonally-appropriate) and in the toddler section of our playcare area. Physical education also includes early lessons about hygiene, such as hand-washing.

Cognitive
Our cognitive education programs for toddlers focuses on: increasing sensory understanding, developing conceptual awareness of things like shapes, opposites, etc.; and developing language skills by learning new vocabulary.

Emotional
We believe learning about emotions from an early age is important for children to grow up healthy, happy, and well-adjusted. Children in our early education program will learn the names of different emotions, and how to identify these emotions in others.

Social
Social skills are important, especially as little ones start to spend more time with their peers. Early education classes guide children in their interactions with others, and teach them social skills such as manners and sharing. We also help them develop a sense of themselves and how they interact with their world around them.
